This is where various ephemera including rules clarifications, corrections and any corrective changes to the game rules or material printed in a given publication will be posted. Note from Editor (Robert A Neri Jr.): As Editor of the current run of books I do take full respnsibility for editing errors which are fixed after they are found immediately, e-book versions do have update alerts via OneBookShelf.com if the customer enables it, print versions are fixed but already purchased prints cannot be update of course so all errors found will remain posted here indefinitely though since we use the Print-On-Demand format subsequent prints are corrected.

Chapter 1, Page 2: Under Attribute Strata of the Universe heading it states that "The character with such an attribute gains the below listed bonus per attribute die to all rolls dependent on that attribute" it should read "gains the below listed bonus to all rolls dependent on that attribute".

Chapter 3: Toughness and Empathic Insight, Enhanced Perception, Psionic Endurance and Telekinetic Enhancement feats. Toughness has been clarified to read "You gain a one-time +1 H.P. per character level bonus..".
The psionic feats have been clarified via an asterix (*) reference which reads "
Applies to 1 specific skill when selected, to apply to another this feat must be selected again."

Update! Chapter 4, Page 52: The Psi-craft skill entry explaining how to charge crystals is a little garbled it reads:

Charge Crystals: Using Psi-craft you can also charge crystals with psionic energy (mana pts; see Chapter 7) as long as you possess psionics (rank 1+). This is done by making a Psi-craft check DC 12 + 2 per pt you want to store. This process deals 1 KO pt per 2 mana pts you attmept to store that is if you fail you still lose KO pts. All charged crystal can only hold 1 power or 6 mana pts for small sized or smaller (within reason) and +1 power/+2 pts for each size up. They are also all single use items though mana pts can be drawn out and used in smaller increments speading out their use over several uses reducing the available pts each time.

The Clairfied version reads thusly:

Chapter 13, Page 140: Under the Size Class heading the second paragraph states:

        Note that Natural Armor bonus for size can be applied to not only natural armor but also any damage reductions or damage resistance but not H.R. When the creature possesses no actual hit die and just H.P. then the Hit Die bonus +1 becomes a multiplier. Racial HD and a creature's Class HD are affected by it's size.

It has been rewritten to read:

If  the creature possesses no actual hit die and just H.P. then the Hit Die bonus +1 becomes a multiplier and size penalties. Racial HD and a creature's Class HD are affected by it's size. Note that size and weight classes cannot drop a creature's HD bonus/HP total below +1 thus in such cases adjust to 1 or +1.

Animal Intelligence: The entry on Page 142 Chapter 13 for Animal Intelligence under the Animal creature category should read: The Creature has an I.Q. score of -5 or -4.
It's an editing error, a left over from the previous edition.


Unicorn "Bane" Ability: Page 150 Chapter 13 entry says "..possesses the bane weapon ability.." under the Unicorn Creature Template, Magical Horn ability. This is another editing error, it should have been deleted altogether, so simply ignore it as it is no longer described in the CRB as it was in a preliminary draft. Only mentioned under the Dragon Bone entry in Chapter 11 as "Dragon Bane Weapon (x2 damage to dragons)"

Chapter 15, Page 168: Under the Spiritual Possession uncanny ability a reference in parenthesis reads "(see exorcism spell and psionic)" it should read thusly: " (see Exorcism, below) ".

Chapter 1, Page 8: Under the Strongman character concept it states in the bonuses that "These characters can select the following feats for 3,500 XP instead of 4,000 XP". Those XP costs should be 4,000 XP and 5,000 XP respectively.

Chapter 6, Page 37: Under the Crystal Master's class ability, Personality Crystal it refers to the Create Personality Crystal feat which is non-existent. This ability simply allows them to gain a Personality Crystal as described in Chapter 11 also granting the bonuses usually reserved for the masters of familiars.
